---Welcome!

We want to glorify God, His son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit in everything we do.

Woodhaven is a place where many doors are always open, where you can explore the seemingly simple idea of living with the joy of Christ in our lives. You’re welcome to worship, grow, serve and fellowship with us!

 Worship

Gather with us on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. as we “seek God’s face” as reflected in the beautiful words from Hebrews 12:28: “Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us give thanks, by which we offer to God an acceptable worship with reverence and awe.”

 Grow

No matter how young or how old, we all have room to grow in love and learn from the life and ministry of Jesus. Let’s grow up together!

 Serve

From its beginnings, Woodhaven has encouraged people of all ages to follow Jesus’ example to be ministers to one another, to our community and to our world. How will you serve?

--- Our Pastor

Pastor Dave Stratton

“Love God. Love each other.”

When you boil it all down, it’s a pretty simple recipe for irresistible life. Our goal at Woodhaven is to offer you ample opportunities to get to know God and each other a little better. You’re welcomed to join us in that pursuit! (By the way, you’ll find the “recipe” in Matthew 22:36-40.)

--- We’re all Ministers

Woodhaven's youth and parents serve a hot, homemade breakfast to homeless in Raleigh.

Ever thought of yourself as a minister? It might sound exciting or a little scary. At Woodhaven, we believe that all members can be ministers. Talk with us about ways that you’d like to grow and serve in the spirit of Christ.

Hey, Youth! Let’s kick off the first day of summer with a classic welcome to our new middle schoolers! While many of our youth and parents are away on the ASP Mission Trip, this is a great opportunity for those of us back home to get to know each other, especially our rising 6th & 7th graders. Friends and family members are welcomed!

Come cheer on the Holly Springs Salamanders at Ting Park on Friday, June 21. Tickets are $9.75/person (under the roof seating). Bring extra money for the peanuts, Cracker Jacks and other concessions. Meet at the Front Gate at 6:30 p.m. (Game starts at 7 p.m.) The address is 1151 N Main Street, Holly Springs.

We need your RSVP by WEDNESDAY, JUNE 19 in order to reserve a block of tickets. Contact Carol Clark at 919-576-5174 with any questions.

Hot dog! It’s Christmas in July!

Red checkered background with hot dog and treble clef
Christmas is coming? Yes! The Woodhaven worship choir will soon be learning the Christmas cantata “Heaven’s Child”… and will present the musical message this fall at Carnegie Hall in New York City under the direction of the composer himself, Pepper Choplin. (In December, the choir will share the cantata with our Woodhaven community, too.)

Here’s where you come in. We need your support for the trip! Join us for a special Christmas in July evening on Sunday, July 14, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. here at Woodhaven Baptist Church. Tap your toes to the bluegrass sounds of the Kudzu Ramblers, and enjoy dinner and fellowship. Friends, neighbors and community members are welcomed. Nothing says Christmas more than bluegrass, right?
Tickets are $10 per person, with a “family cap” at $40. Children ages 10 and under are free. Please register online, and pay at the event.

Can’t make it on July 14? You can still help the choir with the expenses for the trip. Mail checks to: Woodhaven Baptist Church, 4000 Kildaire Farm Rd., Apex, NC 27539. Note “Carnegie Hall Trip” on your check.
