At Woodhaven, Children are Nurtured...

Children hold a special place in the heart of Christ.  As we hold their hands for a while, we pray He will grow in their hearts forever. 

Preschoolers and children are dearly loved at Woodhaven!  Because we believe they are a special part of our church family, we seek to provide a loving acceptance of them in all areas of church life.  We believe children have the right to discover and be all that God desires for them to be.  We lead children to understanding our faith through sound biblical teaching, missions education, and musical experiences.

Sunday School

 

Children's Sunday School classes are available at 9:15am and childcare is available for infants and preschoolers.  During the 10:30am worship serivce, children up to fourth grade are invited to attend Kids Own Worship.

 

This program is a worship and praise time where kids will learn and sing worshipful songs to Jesus, experience the Bible Point in meaningful ways where they get to be actively involved and have special prayer time where they reflect on what they have learned, and thank God through prayer and reflection.  Kids Own Worship incorporates ages 4 - 4th grade providing children the opportunity to participate in a special worship time just for kids!

The program begins at 6:15pm and runs until 7:30pm.  The children rotate through different centers: Powerful Praise, God-Others-And-Me (RA's, GA's & Mission Friends), and Discovery Center Bible Study.
