Our "Seasoned" Adults

One of the strengths of Woodhaven is the balance of our age groups, from infants to senior adults. A vital part of this balance is our Senior Adult Ministry. Approximately seventy people make up this group. Some of our "Seasoned" adults are still employed, some retired or nearing retirement and some are homebound.

Woodhaven's Senior Adult Ministry includes: Bible Study, fellowship, evenings out, day trips, extended trips, intergenerational activities and ministry projects. Woodhaven senior adults are involved in a wide range of activities at Woodhaven. Our seniors teach in Bible Study and Small Groups, active on church committees and councils, serve as deacons and are involved in ushering and preschool child care during worship services.

If you are a "Seasoned Adult" looking for a church home and new friends, come and try us out.

The Senior Adults of Woodhaven get together several times a month to go out and socialize and eat some good food together.
