We want to glorify God, His son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit in everything we do.

Woodhaven is a place where many doors are always open, where you can explore the seemingly simple idea of living with the joy of Christ in our lives. You’re welcome to worship, grow, serve and fellowship with us!

Gather with us on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. as we “seek God’s face” as reflected in the beautiful words from Hebrews 12:28: “Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us give thanks, by which we offer to God an acceptable worship with reverence and awe.”

No matter how young or how old, we all have room to grow in love and learn from the life and ministry of Jesus. Let’s grow up together!

From its beginnings, Woodhaven has encouraged people of all ages to follow Jesus’ example to be ministers to one another, to our community and to our world. How will you serve?

“Love God. Love each other.”

When you boil it all down, it’s a pretty simple recipe for irresistible life. Our goal at Woodhaven is to offer you ample opportunities to get to know God and each other a little better. You’re welcomed to join us in that pursuit! (By the way, you’ll find the “recipe” in Matthew 22:36-40.)

--- We’re all Ministers

Woodhaven's youth and parents serve a hot, homemade breakfast to homeless in Raleigh.
Ever thought of yourself as a minister? It might sound exciting or a little scary. At Woodhaven, we believe that all members can be ministers. Talk with us about ways that you’d like to grow and serve in the spirit of Christ.

Roof torn off by Hurricane Florence

Hurricane Florence Response

Roof torn off by Hurricane Florence
Woodhaven’s missions resources are supporting North Carolina Baptists on Mission (NCBoM) who are at work responding to needs for food and care in hurricane-affected areas. NCBoM is nationally known and praised for their skills, organization and quality of care in disaster response situations.
Woodhaven on Mission is also preparing our disaster response trailer in order to offer assistance in a coordinated care effort through Baptists on Mission and the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship.
How can you help? Please consider making our church your first place for giving in response to Hurricane Florence. Offerings over and above your tithe, if designated on your offering envelope, will go directly to disaster relief efforts.
Additionally, a portion of your tithe automatically goes to the Woodhaven on Mission budget, which makes purchases of tools, supplies and equipment for missions projects now and in the future.
Thank you, church family, for your time, talents and resources. Please continue to pray for the helpers and responders and all who are adversely affected by the hurricane.
For updates, visit Baptists on Mission.

Gather at the River – Oct. 28

Two red canoes with kids and adults on the river
NEW PLAN! Due to Hurricane Florence’s iimpact on the Cape Fear River, we must postpone our Casual Sunday & Gathering at the River. Mark your calendar for Oct. 28.
But that doesn’t mean that this Sunday, Sept. 23 won’t be extra special. Join us for Bible study at 9:10 a.m., followed by a dedication of the new courtyard at 10 a.m.
We will celebrate a baptism during our Worship at 10:30 a.m. And the celebration will continue after the service with an onsite catered lunch.
If you already RSVP-ed for the River, there’s no need to RSVP for lunch. Otherwise, please contact the church office ASAP to let us know you’re coming.
