Adults

Our adult ministries evolve and grow based on men’s and women’s needs. We try to encourage and build one another up, creating closer relationships with God and with each other.

Discipleship

Bible study groups meet on Sunday mornings and discipleship classes get together on Wednesday evenings and other convenient times. We encourage you to find a group that fits your needs; any ages listed are simply suggestions. Feel free to try any of these groups out and find your fit!

Woodhaven frequently offers book or video studies designed for women; these are open to all, and friends are welcome. Our Women’s Ministry also plans annual weekend retreats and ladies’ brunch gatherings with inspiring speakers. Men can drop in the weekly Men’s Prayer Breakfast held on Saturdays at 8:00 a.m. at Bojangle’s in Apex.

Shared Interest Groups

Have a special interest or an issue you’re wrestling with? We welcome your suggestions about new groups. Recent short-term groups have included a variety of topics and concerns, such as caring for elderly parents, Christian financial management, arts and crafts, the joy of parenting, quilting and others.

Many Woodhaven members and friends enjoy singing or playing instruments. The Grace Notes, a women’s ensemble, meets monthly and sings several times a year in our worship services. The Woodhaven C3 Ringers handbell group and the Worship Choir are also open to anyone, regardless of musical training or ability. Read more about music at Woodhaven.

Fellowship

Our fast-paced lives can make it challenging to meet people and form friendships. Woodhaven hosts events like Bunco night, Fantasy Football Leagues and chili cookoffs throughout the year to help adults get to know one another, relax and share food and laughter.
