Woodhaven’s New Associate Pastor of Youth & Young Adults
Reception for Brian and Family
August 7 in the Mobley Memorial Garden

Brian Lockamy will join the Woodhaven Staff Team on August 1 as Associate Pastor of Youth and Young Adults.  On August 7, Brian’s first Sunday with us, there will be a brief reception for Brian and his family in the Mobley Memorial Garden right after the worship service.  Plan now to stay for a few moments, meet Brian and his family, and enjoy some refreshments as we welcome Brain to Woodhaven!  Meanwhile, continue to pray for Brian as he transitions away from his current place of service to Woodhaven Baptist Church.

Ladies Brunch and Devotion Time

Coming the Fall of 2022

Woodhaven Branches Tutoring Program

We will be serving K -5th grades on Wednesday afternoons. A work group has been planning and preparing for this exciting new ministry.  We plan to partner with a local school to identify children needing extra educational support and offer tutoring services at no cost to the families. Families will be invited to eat dinner with us and join us for the evening children’s ministries and Bible study.  If you are interested in helping or learning more, please contact the church office (919) 362-0127 or e-mail admin@woodhaven.org
This program is being planned in collaboration with the Growing Young work group and Woodhaven on Missions.

ALTAR FLOWERS several dates available over the next months
Please read the following to familiarize yourself with our process, then follow the directions if you would like to purchase altar flowers for a Sunday “in honor” or “in memory” of someone.  If you prefer, you can also call the office (919-362-0127) or send Karen an email:  admin@woodhaven.org.  

  • The cost of altar flowers for a Sunday is $65. 
  • We use the florist at Dayspring Flowers and Gifts and we order for you.  If you want something out of the ordinary, you can contact them directly once you have placed your name on our calendar. Your cost will change accordingly but you still pay through Woodhaven.
  • We will list your message in the bulletin on the Sunday that your flowers are displayed.
  • You may take your flowers with you at the end of the service.
  • Your order needs to be received (filling out the calendar or notifying the office) by WEDNESDAY PRIOR TO YOUR CHOSEN DATE
  • There will be no altar flowers on Communion Sundays
  • You can pay using your Realm account…just make sure that you choose “altar flowers” as your category.  You may also write a check and drop it in the offering plate, in the mail, or at the office.  Make sure that you write “altar flowers” in the memo so that we credit it to the right place! PLEASE PAY PRIOR TO YOUR SELECTED DATE.  You can order as far ahead as you wish.

Pay using your Realm Account (Choosing “Altar Flowers” for account) or write a check with “Alter Flowers” in the memo and drop it in the offering plate, mail, or office.
