Children’s Worship

UPDATE: We really, really hope to remove this “update” soon! For now, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are not holding Children’s Worship. We are continuing to engage families with children with virtual story times, outdoor and socially distanced activities, and weekly activity mailings. If you’d like to learn  more about how we are engaging families and children during this time, please contact our Minister of Children, Emily Hayne,
During non pandemic times, Children’s Worship is offered on Sunday mornings during the 10:30 a.m. worship service for children in Kindergarten through grade 3. Children’s Worship gives kids the opportunity to experience an age-appropriate, special worship time tailored for them.

During Children’s Worship, kids will learn and sing worshipful songs to Jesus and participate in hands-on activities to learn a Bible point. Children have special prayer time to thank God and reflect on what they have learned.

We hope that these interactive, participatory Bible learning and worship experiences will help children grow a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

How to Participate in Children’s Worship:

  • Take your elementary age children with you to the sanctuary for worship. (Infants and preschoolers have continuous care from 9:10 – 11:30 a.m. for Sunday School through Worship.)
  • During the 10:30 a.m. worship service, children K – grade 3 are dismissed, and an adult volunteer takes them to Children’s Worship in the Multipurpose Room. (Typically, there is a brief “children’s time” early in the worship service, and the children leave afterward.)
  • Parents pick up children from the Multipurpose Room after the worship service.
