College & Careers
There’s not a one-size-fits-all path after high school or college, so young adults at Woodhaven can choose to join our College group or our Young Professionals group.
College Students
For college students and young adults transitioning from high school, life can be full of questions. This is a great place to voice questions and doubts or to share “aha moments” about your life and your faith.
- Sunday Bible Study begins at 9:10 a.m. for college students and young adults transitioning from high school, but if you wander in a little late, we don’t mind. We meet downstairs under the Fellowship Hall. Terri Stratton and Kay Bradley lead this group in down to earth discussions about how Christians can navigate through the challenges and opportunities of life today. If you skipped breakfast, grab a doughnut in the Welcome Room across from the Sanctuary before the worship service begins (at 10:30 a.m.).
- Terri and Kay also host dinners, holiday parties and Bible studies during summer and winter breaks.
- College students and friends are always welcomed to jump in any church-wide activities and mission projects throughout the year.
Young Professionals
Through Woodhaven’s Young Professionals ministry, individuals and couples who are post-college through about 30 years old can connect with each other socially and participate in Bible study and mission activities. Transitioning from a school environment into business and family situations can be a challenging time. Going through those changes together with a community of people who love God and love each other makes everything a little easier.
In our Sunday School and in-home Bible study groups, we try to cover not only the foundational concepts and stories of Christian life and history but also to apply biblical insights to tackle the modern day issues confronting us all.
- Sunday School meets every Sunday from 9:10 – 10:10 a.m. in the lower level of the Fellowship Hall building.
- Bible Study meets once a month on Sunday nights in a private home setting and usually includes a potluck dinner.
- Other social and missions activities are scheduled periodically.

All are welcome!
