David Stratton

Senior Pastor

A native of Appomattox, Virginia, David has served as Senior Pastor at Woodhaven since 2011. He earned his Doctor of Ministry degree from Campbell University in 2011. He also holds a Master of Divinity with Biblical Languages from Southwestern Theological Seminary and a B.S. from Virginia Tech. David (or you can call him Dave) enjoys football, basketball, fishing and reading. His wife, Terri, is an ordained minister with a Master of Divinity from Campbell. She is the senior chaplain at Central Prison in Raleigh and has served numerous churches in music ministry. The Stratton's have five shared children and five grandchildren.

Brian Lockamy

Associate Pastor
Youth & Young Adults

Brian is a native of Apex.  He graduated with a B.B.A. from Campbell University (1992) and a M.Div. from Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond (1995).  Brian has served churches in NC & VA in various roles with youth and young adults.  Brian and Beth have 3 sons (all Campbell students), a daughter-in-law, and 2 very spoiled dogs.  In his free time, Brian enjoys fishing, woodworking and old mustangs.

Terri Stratton

Interim Choir Director

Terri is a native of Ellerbe, NC.  She graduated with a B.A. in Religion from Campbell University and an M.Div. from Campbell University Divinity School. Terri served as a minister of music for 33 years before coming to Woodhaven.  She is an ordained minister and the Senior Chaplain at Central Prison, a maximum-security facility for men that houses North Carolina's death row. She and her husband, David, share five children and five grandchildren. She enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren and serving God through Woodhaven.

Barbara Mosher

Financial Secretary

Barbara and her husband, Peter, moved to Raleigh in October 2010 after living in Phoenix, where she worked at a Big Four accounting firm and at Grand Canyon University. She’s originally from Long Island, where her two children and two grandchildren still reside. Barbara also has paid and volunteer experience working for other nonprofits. She enjoys music, going to the beach, needlework and fabric painting.

Karen Beazlie

Administrative Assistant

Karen and her husband, Michael, moved to Wake County in 1988 and have made their home in Cary and raised three children here.  They fell in love with the area that was halfway between the beach and the mountains as they love to travel to both.  Karen grew up near Huntington West Virginia and loves the mountains. She graduated from Marshall University with a BA in Middle Childhood Education and Math and a Master of Arts in Education.  She taught math in Wake County for 30+ years. She loves spending time with her children, and grandchildren and also enjoys gardening, being outdoors, and quilting in her spare time.

Sherry Williams

Weekday Preschool Director

Sherry has many years of preschool teaching and administration experience. She’s been a member of Woodhaven since 1994. She and her husband David have two children, Taylor and Clint.

Carol Clark

Pianist

Carol plays the piano for Sunday worship services. She earned her B.A. at Wingate College, majoring in Communications and Studio Art. She also works in membership at the North Carolina Retired Governmental Employees Association and teaches English as a second language to adults in Raleigh. She and her husband, Brian, have three children who have grown up at Woodhaven: Hank, Ben and Audrey.

Ham Morton

Maintenance Technician

Hammie (Ham) has been working for Woodhaven since 2015 as our beloved maintenance technician. He’s usually at the building before most folks have breakfast making sure our systems are running right and repairs are made as needed. Ham and his wife Brenda have been Woodhaveners since 1994. Three generation of Ham’s family are active Woodhaveners.  Ham is a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War era. He retired from Duke Energy nuclear division in 2005. He enjoys traveling and gardening.
